Can I donate things (books, DVDs, reels, microfilm, etc.) to HCTC Libraries?
Answer
HCTC Libraries will accept some donations of materials that are relevant to our collection development policies and mission. This may include books, textbooks, DVDs, CDs, special collection items relating to local history (specifically history of the community colleges) and genealogy, etc. HCTC Libraries staff reserve the right to determine what donated items are added to the collection and turn away materials we cannot add to the collection. Donated items that cannot be added to the collection or given away will be thrown away or recycled.
